2022 flew by in a split second and before we could even get used to Monday not being banned still, we were already at June. For those around us who love Korean dramas, 2022 has been an eventful year.
Giving us several shows to look into, the year has been satisfying and has brought out emotions in us that were quite interesting and cathartic in some ways! So, if you’re wondering which are the best Korean dramas of 2022 till now, then fret not – we have just that for you here.
Best Korean Dramas of 2022 (Till Now!):
Twenty-Five Twenty-One
The sports Korean drama from tvN was an absolute blast to watch. Featuring heart-thumping moments of competition and some of the sweetest relationships, both romantic and platonic, on television, the series balanced these two elements really well and gave us some of the most interesting and kind-hearted characters to boot.
Thus, what we eventually got was a frenzy among fans, who absolutely NEEDED Hee-do and Yi-jin to be endgame. What we got, unfortunately, wasn’t what audiences eventually wanted but it did make sense in the context of the show. Regardless, this 16-episode Korean drama absolutely warranted the attention that it got and then some more.

Business Proposal
When people were heartbroken over the previous entry’s ending, fans got this 12-episode show that is a classic romantic comedy that we love and appreciate in Korean dramas. The series focuses on the bickering and eventual romance between Tae-moo and Ha-ri and the challenges they face thanks to their vastly different lives.
However, my endgame will always be Sung-hoon and Young-seo!
An absolute classic that will have your heart fluttering, if Twenty-Five, Twenty-One leaves you a bit sad, then this one will definitely lift your spirit.

Soundtrack #1
If you couldn’t guess it yet, people (and we) really love our frothy, sweet romantic stories and at only 4 episodes, Soundtrack #1 does it best. Nothing extra and no frills, the romantic drama talks about the heartbreak of one-sided love and how fulfilling it is when (and if) your feelings get validated.
Eun-su and Sun-woo is the perfect couple to watch if you want a short, much-needed break with a satisfying ending. Filled with longing, friendship and a romance that bubbles just below the surface, this 2022 romantic K-drama is all you need!

Ghost Doctor
For all the medical drama lovers out there, 2022 has been a satisfying year so far, thanks to Ghost Doctor. Furthermore, what happens when he realizes he can possess a resident doctor who is known to be a goofball? Do they team up and fight against the unjust forces at play? The series features some very profound questions, some intense surgeries, great friendships and a twinge of a budding romance and is funny as heck. If you’re into the medical genre, then this is the one to stream today.

Pachinko
Based on the novel of the same name by Min Jin-lee, this drama series is created by Soo Hugh and follows the dreams and aspirations of a Korean immigrant family that will touch your heart. The series, unlike others on this list, is haunting and leaves an impression on you.
This isn’t a feel-good drama but it is one that will have a profound impact on you and will make you think. Were our ancestors facing this? Are people still facing this in some parts of the world? The answers are less than favourable as the truth comes creeping up from the corner.
If you’re interested in watching something more serious, this one is a must-watch. The performances of the lead characters are exceptional and their characters portray people and situations that will give you goosebumps and will stay with your long after you’ve watched the last episode.
